In most distributions that come with KDE Software Compilation 4.3 and above, opening Dolphin for browsing the filesystem will give you Preview Mode Button. We will expand on this option.

KDE 4.3.0 (Caizen) Released: Stable, Fast, but Still Not Perfect
First of all, let’s talk about the good things. KDE 4.3 is stable. Very stable. It seemed apparent from the start that the KDE developers were taking no prisoners with the stability of this release.
The Bad

KDE 4.3 RC1 in Kubuntu 9.04 - Overview & Screenshots
I took some time today to install and take for a spin the latest version of KDE4 today, release 4.3 RC1. I installed the packages from the Kubuntu backports repositories, as explained in this tutorial. All the screenshots were took at 1280x1024 and desktop effects enabled.

KDE 4.3 branched, trunk is now 4.4
The release team has just done something a bit different from past release cycles to test out some modifications to our usual work flow: with the release of the first release candidate, 4.3 has been immediately branched off of the mainline trunk, and trunk is now 4.4.

Since Air is coming along nicely (thanks Nuno), it was the time to make the files Lancelot needs for it. Although there are a few things yet to do, I’m quite satisfied with it. I’m even using Air as my Plasma theme now.
