My Experiences With Kubuntu 9.04 So Far
Kubuntu 9.04 is due out in April, and as always, I couldn’t help but to start testing it early and get a good look at what we will be expecting come release day. I’ve been using Jaunty for a little over a month now, and I thought I’d share some of my experiences. In summary, if things keep going the way they are now, Jaunty will be the one to watch out for this year.

Medibuntu for Jaunty Jackalope
If you want some of the 3rd party, non-free softwares like Adobe Acroread, Real Player, Google Earth and Skype etc, you can always grab them on to your Ubuntu desktop by adding Medibuntu (Multimedia, Entertainment & Distractions In Ubuntu) repositories into software sources.

Artwork for Ubuntu Jaunty Already Impressive
Just before Intrepid Ibex came out, I had a few things to say about the new artwork. In a last-minute switch, things improved a little, but I was still never impressed with Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex in the way that Fedora 10 or Ubuntu Hardy Heron impressed me. It seems we are barely even started into the new release cycle, yet I can already say there are some very promising choices.
