Steve Baker is the main developer of PLIB and Tuxedo T. Penguin: A Quest for Herring, and a co-developer of TuxKart with his son, Oliver Baker. He is of British heritage but currently lives and works in Texas. He attended the University of Kent.

SuperTuxKart is a racing game featuring the Linux mascot Tux. It is an enhanced fork of TuxKart. The latest version of the game is 0.5 and was released on May 31th, 2008. It is written in the C++ programming language. It uses the library SDL and PLIB for graphics and OpenAL for sounds.
