After nearly 9 years of seeding The Pirate Bay’s oldest working torrent is still very much alive. Interestingly, the torrent is not a Hollywood classic nor is it an evergreen music album. The honor goes to a pirated copy of “Revolution OS”, a documentary covering the history of Linux, GNU and the free software movement.

KTorrent 4.0 is finally released. This release add some rather interesting features like magnet support and the uTP protocol (bittorrent over UDP). Next to these big ones many smaller ones were also added: UDP tracker scraping was added, usability of the queue manager widget has been improved, you can now add multiple trackers at the same time...

Looks like there is a movement to link film piracy with terrorism in some effort to get tougher anti-piracy laws introduced.
