http://www.nuxified.org

Is Kubuntu Caught in a Downward Spiral?

http://www.itnewstoday.com

Kubuntu has been my favorite Linux distribution since the very first release. Unfortunately, Kubuntu later became known as Canonical’s third wheel, and each release seems to steadily diminish in quality. What’s responsible for its current status, and what should be done to improve it?

freedom services

http://aseigo.blogspot.com

The idea of integrating online services, especially the sort that are (poorly, IMHO) referred to as "cloud computing", is met with resistance by some. Here are my thoughts as they currently stand on what those commitments should be for a service to be considered "Free as in Freedom":

Learning to love KDE 4 (part I)

http://blogs.pcworld.co.nz

There seems little doubt that KDE 4, the flagship desktop environment used by many Linux aficionados, was released too early. After seven years of solid, steady KDE 3 deployment, KDE 4 was released amidst the much media hoopla and near-universal user disappointment. As a result many users simply avoided it. Including me.
