Disable tap-to-click on Ubuntu-EEE for Asus EEE PC
Looks like a lot of people have been having trouble with over the sensitive tap-to-click function of the Asus EEE PC's touchpads when using Ubuntu-EEE. I was too, until I stumbled across this article which explains precisely how to disable tap-to-click by enabling the elantech driver. The article is so low in pagerank that you can't find it by googling for the problem.

"...Recently I bought an Eee 901. Asus has modified the kernel's ACPI driver. They released the source code to that on an 8G surf model, but the 901 has additional hardware features in the ACPI space (bluetooth radio power toggle, for instance) that are not in the source they released back then. There are no sources released at all under the 901 section of their website.

New Eee PC arrives, Linux same price as Windows
Available at computer sellers from "late June", the Eee 901 will retail for $649 and the 701 and 900 have been reduced to $479 and $549, respectively. According to ASUS, the Linux and Windows versions are the same price.
