Why I love Debian
Ubuntu and Linux Mint are great for new users, but I'm not a new user. I'm not trying to be snobby, and I don't think I'm better than anyone else; I just have different needs than most people. Just switched to the Paludis package manager
I just converted from Portage to Paludis about 30 minutes ago on my Gentoo system. Paludis is an alternative package manager for the very buggy Portage maintained by Gentoo. This new package manager is supposed to make it easier to add new packages.
