Firefox and Thunderbird stick out like two sore thumbs. But how to get rid of Flash? It's not so easy. Mozilla's help pages offer instructions on how to expunge Flash from Windows and Mac OS X, but nothing on getting rid of it in Linux. It's not an installed package, so Synaptic doesn't even know it's there. Apt-get also knows nothing. Why? Because it's hidden.
