So where are all the OOXML documents?
Google has a nice feature that allows you to search for documents that match a given file type. This is done by adding “filetype:NNN” to your query, where NNN corresponds to the file type.

USB drivers going GPL-only in 2.6.25
Here's one from the file of random stuff you see when you put a new machine on the upstream kernel instead of the distro kernel. USB drivers for Linux will be GPL-only with the release of the upcoming kernel 2.6.25.. USB maintainer Greg Kroah-Hartman writes: "Over two years ago, the Linux USB developers stated that they believed there was no way to create a USB kernel driver that was not under the GPL. This patch moves the USB apis to enforce that decision."

Malaysia Standards Says Most of Their Technical Concerns Unresolved at BRM; Fast Track Inappropriate
Standards Malaysia has now issued a statement [PDF] regarding the BRM. The title says it all, "Malaysian delegation at the ISO meeting in Geneva (25 – 29 Feb ’08) finds the technical issues in the draft standard OOXML unresolved satisfactorily".
