FUSE on the Mac

Filesystem in Userspace (FUSE) has long been one of my favorite features on Linux systems. Using FUSE modules, you can mount all sorts of innovative resources -- Gmail, your Flickr photos, a remote SSH server -- directly into your local machine's filesystem and use their contents exactly as if they were normal files. Now you can do the same thing on Mac OS X, courtesy of MacFUSE.

KDE 4: Kubuntu, Systemsettings vs kcontrol

The first news in this talk was that Kubuntu will not ship with KDE 4 as the default version for the next two (!) Kubuntu reasons. This is due to the fact that the next version of Kubuntu, Gutsy, will not include KDE 4 because it will not be ready till then.

Security company launches eBay for 0days

By Thursday, the site was offering details on four bugs in products such as the Linux kernel and Yahoo Messenger.
