This is not exactly news but here's a nice tutorial on installing Debian GNU/kfreebsd in QEMU. Finally you can reply to questions like "Do you run linux?" with a proud "No, I run debian" :-) I'm still waiting for the day I can "apt-get install freebsd-image" to replace only the kernel and run my userland with freebsd's linux syscall support.

What I have learned through adopting Linux.

I have learned that I don't have to be tied to Windows anymore. If I choose to use the Windows operating system, I can. Why would I do this? Some software may not work well through emulation, so I can use Windows. Most of what I do, does not require Windows, so it's much more secure than my Windows base applications.
