The Windows MarketPlace is known as the one-stop shop for all your Windows software and hardware needs. Well, for some people it is but I normally never visit the site myself. They do have a nice list of over 5,000 free applications though, and for a little bit Ubuntu was actually one of the offerings.

Don't wait for Vista SP1, pleads Microsoft
People have been having a lot of problems with Vista and compatibility with devices/hardware. Apparently, due to this (and other things I'm sure), they haven't been getting as many converts as they'd have liked. So they put together some "facts" and are telling people not to listen the "rumours" and just sign up. Funny!
