It was simply a matter of time before Linux became my primary operating system. My most recent malware incident was the final straw that sent me into welcoming and safe haven of Ubuntu.

Recently I was involved with a conversation on a Linux mailing list regarding the current state of the operating system... one of the issues that was brought up was emulation. Because it is so simple to configure the Linux desktop to look and behave like either Windows or OS X, there are many that espouse doing so.

Clarification about the site's current scope as far as Novell is concerned

Recently MuleSource partnered with Canonical to improve Tomcat packaging for Ubuntu and Debian. To learn more about Ubuntu I managed to pose few questions to Jono, Ubuntu’s community manager and author of “The Art of Community”.

Debian doesn’t love me. I dunno what I did to incur such defiance, but one thing is for sure: I’m very grateful for the folks at Mepis, and Canonical, Sidux, and others who can tame Debian and make it usable.
