Open source software gets a chance in Russia
"CNews found out a pilot open source software project was to be launched in the educational institutions in Tomsk Region and Tatarstan. According to the Ministry of Communication plans, in case of its successful implementation up to the 2009 year end an alternative software package is to be installed in all the Russian schools."

Red Hat High 2007: After Graduation Day, What Next?

Final Episode - Linux on the Desktop
It’s official I had to pull the plug on Linux on the desktop Podcast. I had many interesting things in the works and I had quite a large audience for a computer podcast. But, being disabled from progressive multiple sclerosis with escalating medical bills it became apparent that I could no longer fund the operation of Linux on the desktop.
