Saving to a Microsoft Word Format
Often in order to interface with other offices or friends you will need to save your document in the format they can read with their system. Chose a File Type which corresponds to the document type you need. In this example the file is saved as a Microsoft Word document.
The Automatic file name extension will place the proper file extension to be read by the other program.

Running Ubuntu on Vista with Virtual Box
I've been getting requests on how to dual boot Vista and Linux or requests to install Linux on someones recently purchased computer. If the goal is to try out Linux or a few of the many Linux distributions, then I suggest running Linux virtually. That way one can a) decide which distribution they prefer, and b) decide of Linux will be their primary operating system.
