This article is one of the worst pieces of fud I have ever seen. It's not bad because it works. It's bad because it's so poorly thought out. The author's ignorance borders on mind boggling. Feel free to bury the story, but consider visiting the site and posting some feedback to the author. While I doubt he will care, anyone reading it will at least see the responses.

Last week I read a half-witted blog post citing “3 Reasons why we shouldn’t use Linux”.

TechBirdy’s reasons are either born out of complete ignorance, or from a desire to spread pure FUD.

Being a Linux user, I thought: what are some good reasons to not use Linux? The following are the best reasons I could come up with.

Four years ago I wrote an article for the Linux Journal about my use of Linux software for music instruction. A lot has changed since then, so I thought I should update that article to reflect my current use of Linux in my work as a music teacher.

I am always interested in a good debate of Linux vs Windows. That said, I read an article this morning talking about the five reasons that Linux beat Windows for servers. By the time I finished reading the article though I had a list of many reasons why the article was actually wrong.

After doing some research on Linux finally i have concluded on 3 reasons why we shouldn’t use Linux. 1) Companies running on donations

Today I came across a nice article by cnet on Linux user interface. The article obviously was geared towards new users who might be interested in Linux. This is a welcome change where everyday more reputable blogs and technology websites are opening up to Linux and introducing it to their reader base, who otherwise probably would have never have known about linux or dared to try it out.

Both desktop environments aim to satisfy users who refuse to let go of old technology and those who demand new technology, but packaged in a familiar format. And Linux Mint is the first project to make both available to users in separate ISO installation images for 32- and 64-bit architectures.
