I realise there has been some contention
I realise there has been some contention in the comments lately about what should and shouldn't be appearing on FSD, so I thought I would let you all know why I chose to submit this article.
Firstly, it is about dual booting and virtualisation, which unfortunately, some people just can't avoid. I am lucky enough to be able to avoid using microsoft products for the vast majority of my life, but some people aren't and I put this up to help them out with what sounds like a really irritating bug.
Furthermore, the issues that the writer had trying to get an answer from microsoft about the problems he was having are real, and really bad. It paints their techs in a bad light and shows how difficult it is to get things done when freedom isn't taken into consideration.
Hopefully, you guys will now understand my submission. :-)

It doesn't make sense to me. Not
It doesn't make sense to me. Not only is it encouraging use of proprietary software, it's encouraging illegal use of proprietary software. The latter should definitely not be a part of the free software agenda.

We agree with your points. However,
We agree with your points. However, it also shows how ridiculous MS's licensing is that you can't have Windows both installed and used virtually on one machine with only one license. It also shows how difficult it is to get help from MS.
We have reassigned the submission to the opposition category because the article's content reflects badly on MS's licensing and support practices. We have also and changed the description and tags to reflect that it is not on fsdaily for the howto but for the bad review of MS practices.

Matt, I did not submit this article
Matt, I did not submit this article to FSD but I am the writer. I noticed the traffic from FSD on my blog and wanted to comment on your statement, "it's encouraging illegal use of proprietary software". Did you even take the time to read the article or just judge it by the title? I clearly stated that this process is not in violation of the EULA and this is a fix for MS's shortcoming when it comes to WPA. Purchasing 2 licenses as MS would recommend to customers would not fix the problem.
