Three weeks ago we wrote about Microsoft’s presence in yet another Linux event. Microsoft, just as a reminder, views Linux as its number one competitor and at the same time it accuses Linux of “stealing” from Microsoft.
WE COULD NOT help noticing that Microsoft boosters are characterising consent on a triviality as some sort of a peace deal between Linux and Microsoft.
LIKE HIM or hate him, the man is considered influential and his words on Microsoft as of late have not been particularly encouraging. He has already moved some computer/s of his to GNU/Linux, which impressed him. Now he opines that Google, a "Linux poster child" in some people's eyes, may replace Microsoft.
The Microsoft boosters spread GNU/Linux FUD even upon the release of Firefox 3.6 while Novell and Microsoft groom another journalist for coverage of their joint products and glorification of their patent deal
Remember Brett Winterford? The guy whom Microsoft gave a free journey to Redmond (he lives far away in Australia)? The guy who writes for the already-Microsoft-biased ZDNet and soon after his visit to Redmond unleashed some outrageous articles echoing Microsoft’s accusations against IBM and ODF?
