Reject All Proprietary Software
Microsoft has this power because the users of the world have given them this power. Whenever you choose to relinquish your liberties to free software by accepting proprietary software, you give the proprietor power over yourself. ALL software proprietors have these powers but on a smaller scale than Microsoft though that doesn't make them any less evil. These abuses would not be possible if people demanded freedom. Join us today and you will be free. Understand why you should be free so that you can communicate freedom to those that are subject to proprietary software.
As for me, I don't find Microsoft any more evil than any proprietary software company; I find them all equally evil. I have rejected all proprietary software from my systems (excluding the BIOS) and so, I am not directly subject to any proprietor. However, they do affect me whenever people share data stored in proprietary formats with me. The only thing I can do in that situation is a lecture about the evils of subjugation and hope they understand it in the hope that they stop supporting this evil.

How about we just reject
How about we just reject them for violating users' property rights?
These monopolists shouldn't have monopolies in the first place at all. But we users love the concept of copyright just way tooooo much.
