Self-interest would rule the day!
It might do well to remind these members of Congess that the thing closest to all their hearts, their own self-interest, could seriously be placed at risk by their voting for this this legislation.
Any member of Congress who had an ip-address that accessed, say a porn site, would have the visit recorded for snoopers to poke through at their leisure.
With the internet being what it is, very soon everyone would know.
This legislation could turn them all into weiners.
I doubt that they could consider such a development to be in the best public interest.
