SCO has filed its First (Non-Substantive) Omnibus Objection to Claims [PDF], which I gather is where a company tries to shuck off any claims they think they can.

SCO, or more precisely, SCO Operations has filed an amended Schedule F [PDF], its list of unsecured nonpriority creditors, or in bankruptcy lingo "creditors holding unsecured nonpriority claims". Here's the original Schedule F [PDF], if you wish to compare the lists. Schedule F is found on page 7 of the older PDF. It is interesting to compare, even without fully understanding what it all means.

There's been a new twist in the dispute between the SCO Group and Novell over UNIX Intellectual Property.

The SCO bankruptcy plods right along. I predicted that the SCO bankruptcy hearing on SCO's First Omnibus Objections to Claims would be short, sweet, and simple, and the minutes of the hearing [PDF] indicate that is exactly how it went. We'll know more when the transcript is made public, but the

Novell objected vigorously to SCO's Motion for PostPetition Financing, the proposed Ralph Yarro "loan" to SCO which also involves granting "security interests and superpriority administrative expense status", and now there's a second objection, from Al Petrofsky.

The hearing on Novell's objection to the leases was today, and Groklaw had two observers there. The outcome was that SCO's leases were approved. Novell no longer objected to the Utah lease, because now they see the terms, and probably also because that's the one that is for only one year. That left the New Jersey lease, the one that will last until 2010.

More bills to go over with a fine-toothed comb, and SCO has filed an third amended Schedule F for SCO Operations. That's the list of unsecured creditors.
