Ask about "Linux" netbooks
This is why it's always useful to go to the salesman, when you see a display of netbooks all with Windows, and ask;
"Where's the "Linux" ones? I specially came in here today to look at the "Linux" models and you don't have any. No, I don't want a Microsoft one. I'm fed up to the teeth with Microsoft, that's why I want to look at a "Linux" model running - they're a lot cheaper too."
Then tell him you are going over to the opposition's store to see them.
That will concentrate their minds a bit more.
