I am often dismayed by the misappropriation of the term open source. Companies apply the term to products that are free though not open source. It’s a classic marketing maneuver to leverage a brand that already has broad recognition.

His idea in a nutshell - Let's use "open source" to deprive Iraqis of their freedom and sovereignty! Let's collaborate to slaughter Iraqi people on their own soil in a war of aggression based on the lies of George Bush and Dick Cheney. Hooray!
