Thank you so much for releasing Flash Player 10 beta 2 for Linux. Thanks even more for (finally) building in support for video4linux2 Webcam technology. You have no idea how much we appreciate that. The only problem is that many (if not most) of us can't use it. You see, it crashes our browsers within seconds.

why I voted it down
This site is about Free Software and not for praising proprietary software.

It's meant to be funny.
Sigh . . . I was hoping the letter was so over the top, that I didn't really need to include smileys after every period. Subtlety, it seems, is indeed lost on the Web. [ insert appropriate smiley here ] In making it so over the top, I was looking to elicit a response from Adobe, which indeed it did, by the way.

But it's not about Free Software
It seems you didn't understand, what i wanted to say.
As long as it is not Free Software I am not interested in it. It is simply unimportant whether it is stable or whether it crashes. It doesn't matter whether they fix that or not, as long as they don't fix the license-terms.
What if I told a story about the chair I'm currently sitting on. It is so stable and never crashes, although I'm a really, really big guy. ;-)
Does that story belong here? No! Why? Because this site is about Free Software and my chair isn't Free Software.
Adobe Flash isn't Free Software either. Gnash[1] would be Free Software, but your letter didn't even mention Gnash.
