Too many Apache HTTPD configuration files
"Holy crap! [Apache]'s got four configuration files".
Ok I feel that pain too. It's being worked on by several projects:
* Gnome's dconf - which will hopefully be extended to Apache
* Samba LDB single registry;
Hope one of these projects wins and becomes a standard.
I put my trust in Samba LDB registry which will also become the backend for the KDE settings storage engine.
Apache is a key player and I am sure it will get a lot of attention in this.
