A team of students of Federal Institute of Science and Technology at Mokkannoor here on Monday claimed to have developed a super computing system called ‘Dakshina cluster series - I’. The system was designed and developed, as part of the Centre for High Performance Computing project initiated by the Computer Science Department. Team leader C. Mahesh said that Dakshina, with Linux operating system, is a platform to deliver excellent performance for users who seek high computer power and resource in a multitasking environment.
