Fatal words!
"Freedom is not on the table in these discussions", said Shuttleworth.
He's missing a very serious point here.
Freedom is incredibly important to a majority of Free Software developers.
Any attempt to dismiss this basic tenet will result in short-term gain over long-term pain.
It reduces the status of Free Software developers to little more than that of iPhone Apps script kiddies and could sucessfully destroy the whole Free Software developer ecology.
