Reading your article, I almost cried, not because what you wrote was inherently untrue, but because for some reason people still like to compare apples with oranges, assuming that being round, they are basically the same

This makes sense. Linux is
This makes sense. Linux is an operating system kernel, it is one part of a larger system. Only a certain dedicated group of people are talented and interested enough to work with Linux. On the other hand, GNU/Linux is a complete system that is able to be compared with the Windows system.
