Here's my problem. I need a calendar app that rudely beeps to tell me when to go to meetings and such. In Ubuntu, that means the Evolution mail client, which has an extensive calendar function, or so I'm told. But I don't run Evolution. I have been using Thunderbird for quite a while now. It’s a great e-mail client and the fact that you can use it on multiple platforms made it a winner for me. I use the Task feature as a tickler file for work flow management. Using the Calendar is a "no brainer" but it took me a while to get the Task feature to work the way I need it to.

As a Windows user there is a distinct lack of good applications for tracking your calendar, email, and tasks all in one location. Some applications do email but not calendar, where as others do calendars without email. As a business user there is a connection between the two.
