SuperTux, another videgame for Linux

http://fosswire.com

Jacob’s recent post on Lemmings clone Pingus reminded me of a similar game (similar in the penguin content anyway) which is also great fun to play and can give you that nostalgic feeling. It is basically a Super Mario clone, called SuperTux. Unsurprisingly, instead of the moustached man, you control everyone’s favourite operating system mascot, Tux.

Firefox extension takes the pane out of windows

http://www.linux.com

Ever wished you could display more than one site in Firefox at a time? I'm not talking about tabbed browsing, I'm talking about seeing two sites next to one another without having to juggle two browser windows. Ubuntu'd, you're getting a Dell

http://lxer.com

The story of a new Dell laptop.
The finale is the best part: "Since then, I've had only one opportunity to use her laptop. I used it to check my email. It was fast, and beautiful, and hers. That's right, I had to give it right back to her. My little one has grown up. As much as it hurts, Linux no longer needs me to support non-geek users."

I’m a fan of Ubuntu Linux, and think that Mark Shuttleworth is a good guy. However, to many in the Linux community, the South African entrepreneur is a rock star, a god. "I was poor. I was desperate. I wanted to be on this bandwagon of this Internet thing, and I wanted to find a business that wouldn't require large amounts of bandwidth or large amounts of capital.
