Mozilo eldonis la 10-an beta-version de Fajrovulpo 4. Tio povas esti ties antaŭlasta beta-eldono. Kelkaj ŝanĝoj koncernas fermadon, seancokonservadon kaj uzon de GLX.

Hodiaŭ estis eldonita SeaMonkey 2.1 Beta 1 kun subteno de HSTS kaj OpenSearch, kaj nova datumadministrilo. Pro sekurecaj kialoj, XUL ne plu uzeblas en TTT.

Je la 19-a de oktobro Mozilo faris laŭvicajn eldonojn de Fajrovulpo (versioj 3.6.11 kaj 3.5.14) kaj Tondrobirdo (3.1.5 kaj 3.0.9). Versio 3.0.9 estas la antaŭlasta eldono de Tondrobirdo 3.0.x.

Last night I downloaded the latest beta release from Mozilla, Firefox 3 Beta 1, meaning to just have a look-see so that I could pen a few impressions. Since then, I haven't bothered to load up Firefox 2 because, even though it's a pre-production test version, Firebox 3 Beta 1 is a mighty fine browser.

The popular Linux Desktop Environment KDE is now upgraded to version 4.4.0 beta 2. This second beta version brings a number of bugfixes and improvements. The Plasma Desktop has been further polished.

One week after the first beta, VirtualBox released a second beta version of 3.0 which comes with numerous bux fixes, improved performances and fixes for SMP guests.

Skype has released a beta version of its VIOP software with video support. Though in beta, it performs very well. Its very easy to install on SUSE, here is a small howto.

Mozilla's released a few weeks ago version 3 beta 3 of it Email Client, Thunderbird. This beta release still full of bugs and should not be used on a production box or as used as your principal email client. See the list of bugs in Thunderbird 3 beta 3 before going ahead to install.
