Much has been said about the so-called “user-experience” in Ubuntu, which drastically needs to be improved if it is to compete with mainstream operating systems like OSX and Windows. It’s a nefarious term and depends upon how one defines “user” and what kind of “experience” the user requires.

I've never had that problem with Ubuntu. He provides no error code or evidence of any bug. No bug report, nothing but a story.
For someone who is presenting Bash tips, he writes like a mac user, ie someone who would never use a command line for any purpose.
The blog doesn't make sense as a whole, and no information about the author is provided.
