KDE 4.0 kaput
I totally agree with all these comments.
I ended up with KDE 4.00 when I installed Kubuntu 8.10. What a complete disaster. I'm too discouraged to even rant on against it.
Is this KDE's personal tribute to M$-Vista, or something?
At least, I didn't pay out good money for this turkey.
Unlike the author, I won't be migrating to the mono-laden GNOME, but I will be changing from Kubuntu - they haven't even bothered to offer a downgrade option(back to KDE 3.5).
Goodbye, KDE. Goodbye Kubunu.
