Today we have hundreds of distributions out available. Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, Debian and many more. Many of them are based of each other. Ubuntu for instance is based on Debian, while OpenSUSE is based on Fedora. Despite the fact that they are all under the name of "Linux", most of these Operating Systems are leading their own development.

OpenSUSE is not based on fedora
I am sorry, but this is a small mistake made by me. OpenSUSE came from slackware.

Another mistake
Claiming openSUSE is based on Fedora is not his only mistake.
He always calls GNU/Linux "Linux" and while he correctly identifies Linus Torvalds as creating the Linux kernel he seems entirely unaware that, in fact, Richard Stallman created most of the basis of what is now called the "Linux" OS as well as the free copyleft licenses it now runs under.
