Faenza icon theme is probably the best ever icon theme I have downloaded from third party sources. And when used along with Equinox GTK theme, this is by far one among the best themes for Ubuntu yet.
A new version of the Elementary gnome theme has been released in the Elementaryart PPA. There were some previews of this new update, but only now the theme has been officially updated. It was mainly the Metacity theme who has been redesigned, as you can see in the screenshot below:
Nodoka is the new Fedora default theme for Gnome. It currently contains gtk engine, gtk theme, metacity theme and gnome meta theme .If you want to install nodoka theme in Ubuntu follow this procedure.
We introduced to you guys probably the best combination of gtk theme and icon set for Ubuntu/Gnome[Equinox gtk theme + Faenza icon theme]. Now take a look at Awoken icon theme. I won't say it is better than Faenza icon theme, but it is almost as good.
If you installed KDE in ubuntu (GNOME based), you may have noticed that when you log back into GNOME, you keep the KDE cursor theme. To fix this, use update-alternatives like so:
GNOME theme engine designer Andrea Cimitan has implemented support for transparent widgets in the Murrine GTK theme engine, bringing Vista-like translucent glass effects to the GNOME desktop. Cimitan used RGBA colormaps to implement the feature and says that, with only 10 or 20 extra lines of code, translucency can easily be added to other theme engines that support RGBA.

There are a variety of free and premium WordPress themes that you can find throughout the web. You will sometime find that you can spend hours trying to modify the theme, so it is tailored to the way you want it. Sometimes it’s easier to create your own from scratch, and not deal with the headaches that can happen with customization of an existing WordPress theme.
