Is Gentoo dying or just becoming old?

http://www.mindstab.net

I haven't really touched my Gentoo desktop in over a year. I I wanted to stay with Gentoo, I'd have a day or two of compiling a head of me, and then who knows what integration head aches as programs and config files change.

Windows = Antivirus = Pollution?

http://maratux.blogspot.com

But, man.... I just couldn't resist the temptation of asking myself "... then how much power is spent on Windows implementing DRM protection mechanisms?". It has been disputed that it be a lot of energy to implement DRM mechanisms. It has been argued that this is not too much of an effort... that DRM in Vista is rougly a couple of LOC on the whole system. I just couldn't care less about it..

Could the Linux Foundation get too big?

http://blogs.zdnet.com

The folks over at the Linux Foundation were happy to announce today that MIPS Technologies has joined the group. Fair enough. get counted for better statistics

http://counter.li.org

Some people want better statistics about how many GNU/Linux users there are. Some suggest a kind of phone-home function (horror!). A better approach would be to get deliberately counted. That is what counter.li.org is for.
The exact number will never be known and that is good.

I Give Up. Windows Is Proof That People Are Too Stupid To Use Computers.
