Foes of Boycott Novell go down low and make up dirt in order to paint the Web site in a negative light

The ACCC is decommissioning Novell. NOVELL relies heavily on its legacy systems (for profit and network effect), so in order for a boycott of Novell to be effective, more stories like this one will be required.

"Not since SCO has there been a company so reviled by the open source community as Novell following its deal with Microsoft.

The site claims to be "Exploring the reality behind exclusionary deals with Microsoft and their subtle (yet severe) implications".

The keyword is "Reality". Unfortunately, there is not a lot of reality or even any facts behind Boycott Novell's articles, which seem to come several times daily. Let me explain:

I just saw a submission in our upcoming queue from the linsux.org site which links to a forum in which one of the linsux.org members - among other things - encourages other members and readers of linsux.org to join the FSDaily community in order to vote down all stories from Boycott Novell.

Ordinarily I would be as thrilled as any other blogger to be linked to from far and wide across the web, but what Boycott Novell is linking to here has little if anything to do with their stated mandate.

Boycott Novell is one opinionated site. If you think I'm pro-Linux and hard on Microsoft, you haven't been reading Roy Schestowitz, who makes me look as mild as a May day. It's also made enemies.
