Dave, one request...
Can you make user sessions last longer? If I log in and my session doesn't time out for a long while, it's no trouble for me to remain logged in and vote on everything I read.
I'm still following, but I have my work computer, my home computer, and not a lot of time on my hands, so I've been skipping the login and not voting, though I've been reading regularly for weeks.

That problem is inexplicable
A few people have brought that problem to my attention. We have tested and have found that it affects a (seemingly) random selection of people (not everyone) with no direct link between the different factors involved. We are hoping that an upgrade to Drupal 6 which has been delayed and delayed and will be hopefully happening very soon will fix it.
Apologies to those affected. I am not capable of fixing it myself... yet. Otherwise it would have been done already. Please be patient... the patience you've all displayed so far is greatly appreciated.

I read this site almost every day.
It doesn't require any patience on my part because there's consistently great content published here. I love reading the tutorials and comments.
But I have one suggested theme change for the upgrade to Drupal 6.
Digg offers two links for every story - one (the title) goes directly to the link, the other (comments) goes to the full story on Digg with comments.
Your node templates take users to the full node view, after which the content link is clickable. I like the Digg style better.

Dave,
I've submitted a comment yesterday, with complaint that the entry into the upcoming queue is hardly visible. As a frequent visitor I wasn't even aware that such a thing existed.
As my post can not be seen here, I assume that you did not receive it due to a technical problem, or you removed it on purpose.
I sent my post as an indication, that there may be nothing wrong with the community, but that the feature you would like to sell is not advertised as well as you think. I expect you to find my comment useful or you at least leave it there out of respect for the time I invested.
If you indeed removed my post, I expect an apology. If not, I apologize for the noise. But my point still stands: make the upcoming queue more visible.

Your post and my reply
Your comment was on the original blog entry. This page is the submission page that can be voted on. Unfortunately there is no way to make the two things the same. So there are two places for you to comment.
Here is your comment and my reply: http://www.fsdaily.com/blog/please-participate-fsdaily-editing-process#c...

Great,
so it's just technicalities and I can keep visiting this nice site for essential IT news. Thank you Dave, good luck with Drupal and sorry for jumping the gun.
