The Asay danger
Matt Asay's "partisan" views towards M$ are dangerous because they overlook the reality of the M$ world.
M$ has established a ghetto in the midst of the software world and wants everybody else to come inside their walls to share their prison - at a price.
The Free Software Community has no walls and we live outside the M$ Ghetto in the air of Freedom.
We can peer in through the bars and tell Ballmer's prisoners to come out into the sunshine, that they don't need to live in Ballmer's ghetto, but we can never go in, to establish "partisanship" with these prisoners, because we might lose our way in the dank alleys and become prisoners too.
