Let's start by looking at where Linux is strong, and where it needs improvement. This is a list of things that affect marketability and suitability. While the advantages of ext4 over ext3 may be a topic some find interesting, if it reads/writes a FAT removable media, the world is happy and could not care less about ext filesystems.
