Linux has a reputation for stability. Because it is based on the Unix framework it has an inbuilt stability where if one process crashes, other processes are not effected. Pure Linux is still supremely stable. Then along came Jones.

Unix SVR4

You got exactly what you payed for. Linux is the same as it was,
even better (Ubuntu 9.04,9.10, Fedora 10,11, CentOS 5.3)
What is the problem ? Make purchase from HP,IBM,SUN.
It is going to be very expensive, but stable and supported
