The full schedule for LinuxCon North America 2010 has now been announced. LinuxCon, organised by the Linux Foundation, will take place from the 10th to the 12th of August at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.

Each year, the Linux Foundation is responsible for putting on some of the biggest names of the conference season. LinuxCon, the Kernel and End-User Summits, the Linux Plumbers Conference — they all have the Foundation behind them. The next up on the schedule is the Collaboration Summit, and as of last week, attendees can now check the details on the Summit's who, what, where, and when.

The Linux Foundation confirmed keynotes for the year's highly anticipated LinuxCon. LinuxCon combines the developer and end user communities to produce more than 75 sessions that address "all matters Linux."

Linux Foundation's inaugural LinuxCon event is scheduled for Sept. 21-23, 2009, in Portland, Oregon. LinuxCon intends to draw a mix of end-users, administrators, and top Linux developers, with speakers including Linus Torvalds, Mark Shuttleworth, and Greg Kroah-Hartman.

The Linux Foundation has announced that its third regional LinuxCon conference will take place from the 31st of August to the 1st of September, 2010 in São Paulo, Brazil and will include talks from Linux creator Linus Torvalds

The program and schedule for LinuxCon 2010 has been finalized and with the announcement comes news of additional keynote speakers and session details. Representatives from Intel and Nokia will discuss the future of MeeGo in the keynote, "Freedom to Innovate: Can MeeGo's Openness Change the Mobile Industry?"
