Like many I'm sure, I'd heard a little of the Free Software Foundation. I recently stumbled upon a new campaign being run by the FSF, entitled the "Windows 7 Sins"... you guessed it - timed around the release of the launch of Win7.

No!
Definitely not!
FSF represents the interests of the Free Software Community.
The term, "open source", has been adapted by M$ and its apologists to now indicate the individuals who pretend to have a great love for Free Software but are willing to co-operate with anything M$ suggests.
CodePlex and M$-Novell are examples of the outcomes of "open source".
The "7 sins" campaign is totally accurate, not as has been mis-represented in this M$-supportive article.

Lousy argumentation
A few examples of the quality of the arguments that the article presents against "Windows 7 Sins" campaign:
No-one is forced to use have Windows - or any other MS product - on their computer, and HP/DELL both offer OS-free PC options
And exactly what standards does OO follow?
This one just gets so tired, it's not even worth picking apart
And the writer says he's a FOSS suporter...
I'll vote the story up for others to see.

Clearly biased article
Under the heading it says "Please support our Windows Vista and Windows 7 advertiser", so right from the outset this article is likely to be biased in favour of Microsoft.
