Well, post rather.

I’ve decided to put together a little contest for our regulars, although newcomers are welcomed, too.

This is a lesson in both history, who’s who, and the roots of Linux.

Dumb contest. Another personal blog entry unworthy of my click.

I think this site should be a bit more discriminating.

This site doesn't discriminate... the community does

I'm not sure you understand how fsdaily works if you think "this site needs to be a bit more discriminating".

This site didn't submit the story; the user called "Mr. Psychopath" did.

This site won't vote for the story; some users have and more might.

If enough users vote for it, it'll go to the homepage. If there aren't enough voting for it or if enough vote against it, it'll just disappear into the archives.

If you want to read stories that haven't been vetted by the community then you have to be prepared to read some crappy articles. Otherwise, stick to the homepage. And, whatever the case, you'll have to blame the community who voted and submitted the articles rather than the site itself.

Easy

When you've heard one RMS speech, you've heard them all. It is pretty much - the definition of free software and why it matters, why open source is not the same as free software, why GNU/Linux and not Linux when referring to a GNU/Linux system, the evils of software idea patents, and the evils of DRM.

Also, that site does not allow anonymous posting :( .
