" We talked a few days ago about the Compiz and Beryl mergence and the name of the newly born project resulted from this fusion, Compiz Fusion. A Comprehensive review of Compiz Fusion 0.76 .. In the mid 2007 it was decided to merge Compiz and Beryl projects to release a much better, stable and sophisticated product .. Earlier named Compcomp but later on named Compiz Fusion.

Today we will be taking a look at these, and we’ll be catching up with Dennis ‘onestone’ Kasprzyk, a Compiz Fusion core developer and openSUSE user, to find out more.
For the next round of Linux Releases (Ubuntu Gutsy, Fedora 8, OpenSuse 10.3, Mandriva 2008 etc) Compiz Fusion should be installed by default in those releases and with the release date looming not far ahead the time is ripe to give you a preview of what to expect from the latest Compiz Fusion.
Our friends Dennis Kasprzyk and Guillaume Seguin announced the release of Compiz and Compiz Fusion 0.7.6 respectively. As is the tradition we always make a release with a lot of new features and of course eye-candy to go with it.
Compiz Fusion is a very exciting new advancement in Desktop Effects. Be that as it may, Compiz Fuzion is NOT for Beginners. It is in development now, and is not stable.
