I know it sounds crazy. Fedora is more a test bed for the enterprise-grade RHEL. Fedora is cutting edge software that evokes images of users fixing more issues than enjoying user-friendly software. Fedora is for those who already know, Ubuntu is for those that do not. Right? Wrong.

Yes, it can.
Fedora's a fantastic distribution. I especially like their KDE offering, it's quite stable, beautiful, and easy to use.
Not to mention, they ship as an almost-totally-free distribution (save for the Linux-Libre kernel). And with the Nouveau project and WebM coming into fruition, it'll be possible for the average Joe to have a totally Free Software system and not feel any "lack of features". :D
