I am beginning to believe that we should completely stop advertising Freedomware and GNU/Linux as free of cost, and perhaps even do a total reversal - find a way to CHARGE for it without actually charging directly for software
Freedomware is not intended as a term to replace Free Software or Open Source Software aka FOSS, FLOSS. These terms have their niche and place in society. They are well established and we are all better for it.
Interesting things are happening in the world of mobile embedded devices where GNU/Linux was already making significant strides as its being used on such popular mobile devices as is Nokia Nseries.

We are excited to make the final preliminary announcement of Freedomware Gamefest 2007, a first international online event featuring a multitude of tournaments as part of a single happening and with games that are only Free Software.
