Once again kubuntu-de.org interviewed a developer. This time we talked with Jonathan (JontheEchidna) Thomas. The Kubuntu developer and Ninja reported about the development cycle of Kubuntu "Jaunty Jackalope", which has been released today. Further he gave a little insight on "Karmic Koala", the future release of Kubuntu, which is announced for this year's october.

Two months after the release of OpenShot 1.0, the OpenShot developers have released version 1.10 of their open source video editor for Linux. The 1.10 release of OpenShot will be included in the Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" software center

I have some great news for everyone today. As you can see by the title of this article, OpenShot is now officially included in the Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) repository. If you have an alpha version of Lucid, you can already find it in the Software Center. Just search for "openshot".

Not a day goes by without my love of OpenShot growing just that little bit deeper – and today is no exception as the latest version, deep breath, 0.9.54 was released today giving OpenShot yet more clout to the title of “most accomplished user-friendly video editor available on Linux”.

OpenShot 1.1 (non-linear video editor) was released yesterday and it addresses 40 bugs and features.

The most requested feature was probably the "Undo / Redo" support which has finally been included in OpenShot.
