After posting the 15 Cool and Unique Linux Desktop Workspaces, I decided to officially launch today "The $100.00 (USD) Coolest Linux Workspace Contest". This contest is open to everyone who can show and tell us something about his/her cool and unique Linux workstation setup.

You may have already seen our list of awesome Conky scripts or configurations, and perhaps applied or used some of them on your own Linux desktop. Since that collection was quiet popular, I decided to scour the web once again to gather more Conky scripts that I could share with all of you.

One of the best features of Gnome 3 are the dynamic workspaces. Using some simple keyboard shortcuts, it is possible to assign an application to a workspace and quickly switch between them. If you run a standard set of applications, this process makes switching between them very efficient.

When you first install KDE, it will already look beautiful, but half of the fun of a free and open source workspace is tweaking.
