"Slashdot has an entry about a lawsuit filed this week by parents of a Texas minor whose photograph was used by Virgin Australia in an advertising campaign. The photograph was taken by an adult. He posted it to Flickr under a CC-Attribution license.
The Linux Foundation (LF) announced keynote speakers for LinuxCon, scheduled for August 10-12 in Boston. LinuxCon will feature keynote speakers including Virgin America's Ravi Simhambhatla, GNOME's Stormy Peters (pictured), the SFLC's Eben Moglen, and Forrester Research's Jeffrey S. Hammond, and will host a Linux Kernel Roundtable.

I think it is time that Sugar Labs and Sugar developers to realize that the success or failure of Sugar does not depend on its ability to play YouTube videos. Not because is not important but because there is very little chance to penetrate this market dominated by Microsoft and Apple.
Back in September we talked about the possibility of America's Army returning to Linux with the 3.0 release. One of the America's Army developers mentioned that it's a possibility and there may be a way to get the client restored and updated on Linux. It looks like America's Army 3.0 for Linux is still a possibility
